5 Things Sunday

If this is the first time you've read it, 5 Things Sunday is a list of 5 things which have made my week awesome!  I find that it's a great way to sum up the week and to look at all the fabulous things which happened, rather than just the really bad things ^^

1. Being a Teacher
I love being a piano teacher.  I get to teach people about something that I love, it's just so rewarding and a fabulous job.  Sometimes, at the end of the year, my students give me Christmas presents; it's mostly chocolate, but still.

It's chocolate!  ...Cadbury's Roses are just so tasty as well...

2. Parties!
Well, party.  I was apprehensive about going for the sole reason I was pretty sure I knew noone except for the host.  Turns out it was a lot of fun, and I'm actually looking forward to going out and catching up with people next time, rather than "sleeping in" and avoiding it.  Lesson learned!

3. The Darkmoon Fair!
I'm talking about World of Warcraft here.  Just to clarify.  Hehe.

It's been revamped in the latest patch and is totally awesome and kickass!  Yes, mini games amuse me.  Plus an accidental team of dancing bears at the Tauren Chieftans concert is also highly amusing.

I wasn't kidding.  It was a lot of fun. (I'm the bear in the center of the screenshot)

4. Results time!
Ok, so I generally hate this time of semester - the waiting to see if I've actually passed my subjects for the semester.  This time was no exception.  But... I PASSED!  I was so excited that I'd passed one of my subjects in particular, that I may have started crying.  It was such a relief to pass, it meant that my degree wouldn't have another extra year added on.  Now to figure out what to do with the first semester of next year...

5. Date Night
I love my boyfriend and all, but we don't have "date nights" very often - it's just as easy (and infinetly cheaper, for two broke uni students) to hang out at home.   So when we decide to do a date night, it's generally awesome.  And we generally end up scrapping those plans (this time, much to my disappointment) and doing something else.  This time, instead of doing dinner and a movie, we bought some fish and chips and sat (in the car, it was 9pm at night) by the river, chatting about everything and nothing.

It was really nice.

Until next time,
-C
